Brand Positioning Strategy
Throughout the research phase we identified that Next Step Nursing was offering a uniquely refreshing business culture, setting themselves apart from their many competitors.
The proposed brand positioning strategy led us to combine this inclusive, relaxed, working environment feel with a distinctive candidate centric proposition, from which to craft the Next Step Nursing brand identity.
We began by exploring engaging visual design concepts to communicate this unique business.
The Logo Mark
The logo uses an oversized ‘X’ character, launching itself out of the word mark, up to the next step in an a transformational, positive, forward motion.
This ‘X’ character removed from the word represents ‘X’ marks the spot, referencing Next Step Nursing’s ability to find the most enticing & well paid nursing roles available throughout the UK.
As the ‘X’ launches itself to the next step, it begins to rotate into a ‘+’ character, representing nursing & the healthcare industry.
The Visual Identity
The bold & vibrant theme continues throughout the visual look & feel of the identity.
The random crosses scattered throughout the design represent the vast number of jobs available through Next Step Nursing.
The use of a powerfully memorable & relevant colour palette, affable fonts & quirky tone of voice, all combine to create a friendly, approachable & unique visual brand aesthetic.
Fable&Co. were then tasked to create a vast number of branded deliverables to enable the launch of the business.
From corporate stationery, branded application forms, brochures, internal office graphics, trade show banners, branded ephemera & staff uniforms through to the design & build of Next Step’s comprehensive & highly functional website.
