During a qualitative research phase, Fable&Co. explored the unique brand positioning of this established venture capital firm. We discovered an entrepreneurial passion, authenticity & respect within Black Fountain – values that are not commonly associated with typical VC firms.

This insight led to the creation of a new brand tagline: “Guided by instinct, driven by possibility.”

Conceptual Thinking

The brand design for this established venture capital firm exudes elegance & professionalism, meticulously crafted to reflect the firm’s coveted reputation yet also dynamic & inspiring enough to engage effectively with their founder audience. The design seamlessly integrates a refined & natural colour palette. The logo – a simple monogram of the firm’s initials – is paired with a modern sans-serif font & cursive serif combination, balancing tradition with contemporary flair.

High-quality materials, including embossed business cards & sleek, minimalistic stationery, enhance the tactile experience. Each element – from the subtle textures & confident use of clean space, to the strategic placement of brand assets – conveys a message of stability, innovation, & forward-thinking investment strategies. This perfectly encapsulates the firm’s identity & authentically differentiating them from countless other venture capital firms.

This new brand identity was consistently applied to key deliverables, including a corporate stationery suite, social media channels, business templates, PowerPoint decks, along with a dynamic & engaging new website.
